2 Cup All-Purpose Flour
2 Cup Quick Cooking Oats
1 1/2 Cup Packed Brown Sugar
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1 1/4 Cup Butter or Margarine
1 1/2 Cup Caramel Ice Cream Topping
1/2 Cup All-Purpose Flour
2 Cup Freeze Dried Apple Dices*
1/2 Cup Chopped Walnuts or Pecans

*Reconstitute before using.
Follow directions on #10 can to reconstitute.


1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease 15"x 10"x 1" pan.

2. In a small pan over low heat, melt butter or margarine. In large bowl, combine 2 cup flour, 2 cup quick cooking oats, brown sugar, baking soda, and melted butter. mix until crumbly. Press half of mixture into greased pan. Set aside rest. Bake for 8 minutes.

3. In small pan over medium heat, combine caramel topping and 1/2 cup flour. Bring to boil stirring constantly. Boil 2-3 minutes, while still stirring, until slightly thickened. Spread apple dices and nuts into baked crust. Pour hot caramel mixture over apples and nuts. Sprinkle reserved crumbly mixture evenly over top.

4. Return pan to oven. Bake 20-25 minutes. Cook completely in pan. Cut into bars.
