2 Cup Freeze Dried Green Beans*
1 to 2 Tablespoon Butter
1/4 Cup Slivered Almonds (2-ounce package)
1/2 Lemon, Juiced
Ground Black Pepper
1 Can Fried Onions
*Reconstitute before using.
Follow directions on #10 can to reconstitute.
1. Bring 1" of water to a boil in a high-sided saute pan. Add salt and green beans to boiling water and cook until just tender.
2. Drain beans and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking.
3. Bring a skillet to medium heat and add butter. When butter is melted, add almonds and cook until golden brown.
4. Add green beans, lemon juice, salt and pepper.
5. Top with fried onions.
