1/2 Cup Sugar
3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup Dehydrated Butter Powder*
1 Heaping Cup Mashed, Cooked Pinto Beans
1/4 Cup Karo Syrup
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
1/2 Cup Chopped Nuts, Pecans, or Walnuts
1 9" Unbake Pie Shell
*Reconstitute before using.
Follow directions on #10 can to reconstitute.
Preparation 1. Blend sugars, eggs, and butter until creamy.
2. Add pinto beans, Karo syrup, and vanilla. Blend well.
3. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Top with chopped nuts.
4. Bake 375¬∞F for 20 minutes then 350¬∞F for 25 more minutes.
Serve with whipped cream or ice cream if desired. Can use as a tart filling.
